The 6th Bangkok Experimental Film Festival ‘Raiding the Archives,’ 2012.
The Bangkok edition of BEFF6: Raiding the Archives consisted of 14 specially curated single-screen programmes, presentations of five invited international programmes and four programmes of workshops and discussion. The centrepiece was the archival strand consisting of six programmes based on the curating team’s research in film archives across Asia and Europe. The works selected combined old amateur footage, personal films and documentaries with contemporary artists’ film, experimental videos and experimentally inclined documentaries.
